Kasia, in her wonted manner, was teasing Mark. She's decided that he's afflicted with aphasia. Accordingly, she's printed out the definition of "aphasia," made him read it and a list of the symptoms, and otherwise badgered him to the point where he decided he needed back-up.
"Jennifer!" he bellowed from the conference room. "Do you think I have aphasia?"
"A what?"
"A phasia!"
Jennifer hesitated.
I called out: "Not a phasia, aphasia. An aphasia."
Realizing this was more convincing in print than audibly, I added: "It's an alpha-privitive!"
Dead silence. Oops. Was I smart again?
